Mary Alice tells us it's the annual blood drive.
Most people there to check their health and well being but the friends were
more concerned the street was infected. Susan and Gabby ask Bree to ask the detective (in the Rex case) to do a background check on the Applewhite's. We then see Zack with a nurse for the blood drive and she tells him his blood is AB- which is rare but that he was the 2nd one with that blood type today, he asked who was the other and she said "that guy over there" and it was Mike. Susan We see a guy named Jim who's friend's set him up on a blind date with Susan. The date was awful. He just kept making jokes, most of which that weren't funny. Just when Susan thought it couldn't get worse, they both leaned over (at dinner) to pick something up off the floor and knock heads. They go to clinic. Susan tells the doctor to admit her because it was the worst date she ever had and she wanted the guy to leave, the doctor thought she was nuts but then when he went to check Jim, he told Jim he had to keep him for tests and said Susan could leave. Susan goes back to clinic for a follow up and asks to see Dr.Ron, the nurse says he is busy and only sees patients who are ill. We then see the doctor asking Susan about her symptoms of nausea, chills and tingling. She says "maybe I drink too much coffee, you like coffee?" he says "no", she says "maybe juice", he looks at her closely and tells her she needs an MRI. She goes in for the MRI and is in her bra and underwear trying to put a gown on. Over speaker Dr.Ron tells her she doesn't need to strip down for MRI, she asks why the gown and he tells her it's a cover for the MRI machine. While going through the MRI she says she's sure they won't find anything so maybe they could go out to dinner to celebrate her health, she doesn't hear him answer and the other doctor tells Susan that Ron had a phone call to attend to from his girlfriend. She was embarassed. Doctor later shows up at Susan's and she tells him she was faking being sick. he got upset , said he was worried all night about her, she was surprised and he said he worries about people he likes. She said "you like me? what about your girlfriend?" he said "what girlfriend?" and explains that was just a girl hge had been on 1 date with. As he's leaving she says "maybe we can go out next time" and he was going to get upst but then asked if she liked Sushi and they planned a date for Friday (cuz he said he'd still be upset the following day, so Friday was better) Mike We see Deidre's Dad sick in a bed with a nurse and Mike visiting him. He asks Mike he found the man who killed his daughter and Mike said it was a man named Todd Forest , he was a drug dealer, she tried to steal from him and he killed her andthen Mike killed him. the man not very happy, fires his nurse. Tells Mike "I guess we're done then?" Mike says "yeah", the guy says "are you going to come see me again?" and Mike said " you plan on having an open casket?" Lynette Tom freaking out because the children have the chicken pox. he called Lynette home from home work and he was standing outside, said he couldn't be near them because he never had the chicken pox. Lynette later brings food out to Tom and Carlos was walking by. he wished Tom luck and told Lynette he doesn't blame Tom for staying out of the house he wouldn't want to shoot blamks either. Lynette confused and Tom tells her there's a chance of sterility if he gets infected. She doesn't see what the big deal is because they don't want any more kids and he tells her he wants options if anythig would ever happen to 1 of them. It's a backup plan. Lynette is furious and can't believe he actually thinks of himself married to someone else and having more kids etc... She tells him it's painful to hear him talk like that and says he should calm her irrational fears and have a vasectomy, he said "can I just get you flowers instead?" , he agrees to make an appt but then gets back home and says he couldn't do it. Felt like he was being immasculated. Tells Lynette he doesn't work, stays home with the kids and it's the last thing he has that makes him feel like man. Lynette freaking a little and he tells her "you expect me to calm your irrational fears, I expect you to calm mine". She asks "are you unhappy?" and he said " a little bit" Lynette asks "what are we going to do?" and as he's walking upstairs he says "I don't know" Gabby Gabby's gardner went to see her and said his wife left him. He was addicted to porn on the net. Gbby wondering why he was telling her this and he hands her a pic and it was 1 of her. She is shocked. She tells Carlos she was dating a photographer named Scott when she and Carlos met and he took pics of her and he now posted them on his website. She sked Carlos to go scare Scott and demand he take them down. He told her he couldn't, she made the mistake, to fix it herself. Gabby upset. carlos goes out to get the paper and 2 gardners are there. Gabby goes out with her yoga mat and takes her clothes off. Carlos asks what she is doing and she says she's living with it. tells the gardners to feast their eyes on her. Carlos tells the gardners to turn around and just then 1 of them cuts the others finger off by mistake with a garden tool. Gabby and Carlos later pull up at Scott's and Carlos tells Gabby he is trying to lead a better life, he won't do anything to Scott. Carlos decides he'll go in and talk to Scott but he won't hurt him. He goes in and tells Scott who he is. Scott says he was just about to take Gabby's pics down because they haven't brought his site any money. Tells Carlos "she ain't internet pretty" Tells Carlos guys that visit the site want to see the goods and all Gabby can do is work a runway. Hands Carlos all the pics and says "we cool now?" and then we just see Scott go through a window and Carlos walks out with what seems like a sore fist. Gabby waiting in car smiles and says "now that;s my guy" Bree and the Applewhite's Bree in her garden and Betty tells her they may move because her mother in Chicago is ill. Bree doesn't believe and meets for dinner with the detective. Asks him to do a background check and he sayd he can't do that because people seem odd. (he was also dissapointed because he was hoping this dinner would be a date with Bree.) Tells the detective she has a 6th sense about people and he replies "and yet you got engaged to the man who murdered your husband". It was time to leave and he says he'll drive her cuz she had too much to drink. She thinks he's nuts and leaves. As she's driving cops behind her, she pulls over. it was the detective, told her she was weaving and said she had to take a sobriety test. She refused and said he was only doing this because she wasn't interested in him etc..., he handcuffs her and arrests her. She's in a prison cell with a protistute and the prostitute asks Bree how she got started and Bree says she's not an escort. the prostitute asks how much she charges a night and Bree said 5000$ Security comes to release Bree but says her car is impounded until tomorrow. She starts walking home and Betty is driving by. Tells her to hop in. She drops Bree off and Bree ask that she keeps this to herself as "most people couldn't keep a secret if their lives depended on it", Betty says many people have been charged with DUI and Bree tells her the difference is she wasn't drunk. Betty doesn't believe her and reminds her "like you said, people can't keep secrets" and Bree blurts out in anger "except for you!" tells her she moves in in the middle of the night, starnge sounds coming from her house, dead body in their car and says everyone talks about the Applewhite's but noone can figure them out. Leaving the car Bree said "congratulations, your secrets are safe.....for now" and she leaves. Betty picks up phone, calls edie and says she wants to meet her first thing in the morning, she wants to sell the house. Bree gets home and has a message from the detective saying the dead man in the car was Curtis Monroe, he was a private detective from Chicago who lost his life a couple of years ago. Mary Alice then says illnesses can take on many forms, those of the body are easy to treat -see Lynette with the kids much more difficult are the hidden maladies that fester in our hearts -we see Tom just thinking the secret addictions that consume our souls -see the gardner on the computer and the diseases we deny which affect our judgement -Bree drinking to survive we need to find that special someone who can heal us Susan at the clinic and the doctor -then we see Dirdre's Dad saying "I worked so hard all my life, now it's all nothing" "I have 1 daughter who I hate and who hates me and 1 dead before her time" we see a new nurse giving him IV M.A. We can never predict a cure for what ails us -we hear the new nurse say "the other nurses all warned me you were difficult Mr.Taylor" M.A. or when they'll show up -we see Mrs.Tillman "but I think we're going to get along just fine" |
