The show starts with Paul on the phone
when a detective shows up at the door. He takes Paul away and tells
him he has to be questioned for credit card fraud. They get to the
police station and an officer says they have to book him somewhere
else, the computer system is down. The detective handcuffs him and
puts Paul in a van where 2 or 3 other inmates are sitting. 1 of them
says to Paul "Deidre's father said to give you his regards" and then
they beat him up. Felicia saw Mike and told him the police took Paul away and she doesn't think he'll be back soon. Mike called Noah and asked if Paul was dead and Noah told him it was none of his concern. Mike told Noah that he killed the most important person in his grandson's life and when he finds out he won't want to have anything to do with him. (Mike then puts a gun in his pocket) Mike went to see Zach and then Felicia shows up at the door with a platter of macaroons, says she was bringing them to Zack, they didn't part on the best of terms last time. As they're talking a cop car pulls up and Paul gets out beat up. Zach says "Dad" and runs to him. Felicia looks shocked and Paul very serious, he took a macaroon from her platter, said "How did you know I loved macaroons? and walked in the house. Mike tells Paul that Noah has people watching him and he better not run because Noah has cops in his pocket. He tells him to let Noah meet Zach, Paul refuses but Zack hears and says they should go, if it means Noah will leave them alone. Mike and Zach go to see Noah and Noah asks Mike to wait outside and he said "not a chance". Zach asks him why it was so important for him to see him and Noah tells him because he is his grandson. Zach told him that if anything happens to his Dad, he would never see him again and Noah said "which Dad? you have 2 of them" Zack said "the one who raised me, the only man I care about" and we see Mike swallow. Susan The surgeon who was supposed operate Susan has a broken arm so Dr. Ron will perform the surgery. The nurse brings in a huge bouquet of flowers to Susan from Ron and he tells her to read the card, but to wait until he leaves. He kisses her and leaves and she reads it. The nurse asks to reads it and she starts laughing. Later Karl comes to visit and he read the card and laughed basically calling DrRon cheesy for writing stuff like "I can't wait to operate you to touch your heart because you have touched mine". Susan tells Karl that Ron is smart, funny and kind. Karl leaves the room and tells the nurse "watch out for my wife"  The nurse goes in to take her blood pressure but put the arm band on real tight. Susan telling her she is in pain wonders what the heck is going on. The nurse tels her that she knoes she is married. Susan said she and Karl used to be married but then the nurse said she checked the insurance form and they are still married. She called Susan an adulterous skank. She tells Susan that ron has been working up the courage to tell her he loves her. Later Susan was talking with Lynette saying she didn't feel the spark with him yet but she felt it with Karl and Mike. Mike shows up with lilacs to visit Susan and sees Karl in the waiting room.Karl told Mike about the flowers and card from Ron and that he used words like soulmate and eternity. Mike asked "what did Susan think? and Karl said she seemed into it. Susan was on the hospital bed and saw Mike. He took her hand and said he went to go to see her and she said it meant alot to her. (she was 1/2 drugged from meds) They held hands a little ad Mike told her to take care and off she went. Karl told him he forgot to give her the flowers and he said "it's no big deal" and he left. Just before he's about to operate and Susan real drugged, Ron tells her he loves her. She said "thank you. I love Mike" and she kept calling Mike's name ans saying "Mike is love". Dr. Ron asked who Mike was and the nurse said she doesn't know but knows she is married to a Karl. The nurse is crying and freaking out and asks why he always falls in love with skanks. he said he doesn't know "but let's cut this bitch open".  Tom and Lynette Tom was working on an Eskimo pitch but Lynette didn't like it. she said he didn't give his 100% and he could do better. He says "you're the boss" and she said "yes I am". At home they're eating dinner and he tells her the meatloaf is burnt. He tellsher she didn't give it her 100% but that she tried the best she could with the time and energy she had. She told him he can't compare meatloaf and business and he is insulted that she finds the client more important than family. They later hit the bedroom and getting kissy and Tom gets upset that Lynette is trying to dominate in the bedroom too. He tells her she always has to call the shots and that she is his boss everywhere. She sayd "sorry you feel that way, it's your life, if you want to run it you need to step it up and grab the steering wheel". He leaves to "check on the kids". At work, he stops the elevator. he tells Lynette it's hard for a guy to feel like he isn't in charge of any part of his life and that it is his isuue and he will step it up and deal with it. So he starts kissing her and undressing her in the elevator, she tries to tell him they will be late and he just says " we're going to be late" and continues. Gabby and Carlos They're at the adopition agency and the agent tells them that the birth parents pick the parents, to do a parent folio. Gabby shocked that they have to "audition" to be a parent. They get home and look at pictures but Carlos can't believe that in almost every pic they are drinking, smoking or naked. They went to see Lynette and asked if she could write a note saying what good parents they would make etc.. and they ask Lynette to be Godparents to her kids and take lots of pics of them with the kids to show the agency. They bring a parent folio in full of pics of Carlos, Gabby and Lynette' kids and the woman seems impressed. That is until Helen Rowland walks in the room. the agent asks if they know eachother and Helen tells her that Gabby hired her son to do yard work and raped him and that happened before Carlos went to prison. Helen then tells Gabby she can forget about applying at any other agency as she will make sure every place knows about her. Carlos and Gabby are trying to figure out what to do and they say they are ways to get children but it may cost them. we then see them at an office and the man asks if they are prepared to face the challenges ahead and Gabby gives him a 20,000$ check and says "is that proof enough?" Bree Mary Alice was telling us about Bree's weekly routine about cleaning on Tuesdays, paying bills on wednesday and laundry on Thursdays, and reward herself with a drink afterwards. We then see Bree looking out the window at Lynette talking with Gabby and Susan (telling them about what happened with the kids last time and Bree's drinking) Bree went to see them (Lynette had left for work) and she asked them if Lynette spoke about her. they said a little but not reallt so Bree gave her side of the story aboyt mixing her meds with wine and falling asleep. When Bree left Gabby thought she smelled real bad of alcohol and Susan agreed. Later.. Andrew walsk out as Bree was reading paper and drinking a glass of wine. Shetried to hide it and he said she didn't need to that, he saw it already. He told her he wanted a car, said he had enough money in his trust fund, She said he couldn't touch his fund until he was 21. She called it delayed gratification, something he said she knew nothing about seeing as she was already on her 3rd glass of wine and it wasn't even noon. She still refused to give him his money from the trust fund and he said "aren't we a mean old drunk?" She slapped him. He said "whatever that was supposed to teach me, consider it a lesson learned" Later we see Andrew giving Justin a ring and telling him to punch him. Justin does it and Andrew tells him to do it 1 more time. At the house later a man, Samuel,introduces himself to Bree as Andrew's lawyer. Wondering what's going on, Andrew tells bree that she hit him and he is black and blue cuz of it. She tells the lawyer she slapped him with an open palm and not a fist. The lawyer said they could emansipate Andrew which would relieve him from adult supervision and he could live on his own and be in complete control of his finances. The lawyer tells her with the DUI charges and the violence, it could get ugly. She had 24 hours to think about it. Andrew sees Bree emptying wine bottles and asks if she will pretend to be sober. She tells him she started going to AA meetings, perception is relaity and when others perceive her drinking problem, then she has one. Andrew wonders why she is doing this just to try to keep him for another year. She sats she wants to make him a better person and he tells her he isn't getting any better than that. He called her a stoned cold bitch and she threw a bottle in his direction. He turned to her and told her that he hated her. She said "if you hate me it means you still care and we're still connected" Mary Alice ends with (I missed the very beginning of this but along these lines...) Bree's routine didn't really change, "she still cleaned on Tuesdays, paid the bills on Wednesday and did her laundry on Thursdays. But her Fridays were now reserved for a meeting, a special meeting, where she stood in front of people she didn't know" 0Bree says "My name is Bree and I am an alcoholic" "and said things she didn't believe. And afterwards Bree would come home and reward herself on the completion of another successful week" -we see Bree pouring herself a glass of liquor. |
