The show starts by showing us Lynette sees how tense her boss is, so she tries bringing her soothing gifts but it doesn't work. She asks her out to a bar for some drinks, Nina says she's shy meeting men, Lynette went up and told a guy Nina found him cute and to buy her a drink. Nina shows up the next day at work happy and wearing the same clothes from the night before. Every night after work that week, Nina asked Lynette to go out for drinks and even blackmailed her concerning work if she said no. At the bar Nina is always having fun and depends on Lynette to watch her purse while she dances. She;s just using Lynette as company and doesn't feel threatened by her. On the 5th night, this man Chuck tries to pick Lynette up and puts his hand on her thigh, she says "take your hand off my thigh" a pause and then she said "I said off my thigh, not up my thigh" Tells him she isn't "like that" and he points out that she has been every day that week. Lynette fed up goes to the bathroom, puts down her hair, puts lipstick on and has a sexy top on, goes out onto the dance floor and having fun, dancing and drinking with some guys. Nina upset (because 1 of the guys stopped dancing with her to dance with Lynette), goes to sit down, Lynette goes next to her and says "don't you want to dance" "I love this song, hold my purse" and she tosses her purse to Nina. YAY Lynette!! Gabby Gabrielle is visitong Carlos and has a picture of the ultrasound. Gabby introduces the lawyer to Carlos and Carlos says to fire him, he won't be his lawyer. (jealous and fear that Gabby will fall for him) There's an inmate meeting with their spouses in the prisn and a priest to discuss the obstacles that their marriage faces. Carlos says all is good but then Gabby said he fired a brilliant lawyer so Carlos says Gabby cheated on him etc... It was funny because earlier a husband said he had abused his wife and when Carlos said Gabby cheated she said something to the effect of he shouldn't talk because he beat his wife and the wife shouldn't talk or else Gabby will slap her, it was funny. We see Gabby working out at home and the lawyer shows up. She tells him to convinve Carlos he isn't interested in her by saying he is happily married or gay. Lawyer agrees he'll talk to Carlos but not sure what he'll tell him. The next day Gabby and the lawyer go see Carlos and the lawyer says to Carlos 'so you want to know if I'm interetsed in sleeping with your wife?" "the answer is Yes" He starts going on about how Gabrielle is beautiful and he's going to sleep with her and take her places etc... and then says "I'll do all this if you fire me" Carlos obviously upset gets upset at Gabby and tells her "he's my lawyer, that's all there is to it" thinking Gabby had something to do with that. Gabby was shocked at the lawyers comments and apologized to Carlos and I'm sure wasn't expecting Carlos to hire him. Susan Susan's book agent lonnie Moon shows up and Susan's and tells her he's starting his own agency and wants her to go with him. Tells Susan he had a few money problems with previous partners and moved some money from here to there etc.. Susan asks if he embezelled (sp?) money, he denied it. Says he didn't move any of her money. Mike thinks Susan is crazy to go with Lonnie and asks how can she trust him. She said she believes in second chances (not with Zach she didn't). Mike leaves. Susan tells Julie that she saw Zach,sent him to Utah and didn't tell Mike and that she feels really guilty. She asks Julie "what would you do?" Julie says "that would never happen to me. These things only happen to you" Susan says "why did I do this?" and Julie says "I have a feeling you did it for me". Susan shows up at Lonnie's house and walks right in as the door is open, the place is a mess, there's no electricity etc... she asks again if he stole from her and he says he did but that she was the 1st he paid back. She tells him she can't go with him because she can't trust him. He grabs the contract from her hand, they restle to the ground, she gets it back. He tells her he lost everything, wife, kids etc.., she tells him he lost her as a client but not as a friend. he tells her "you're my suzie" and tries kissing her and that was creepy, this man was a little creepy. She freaks out and leaves. Bree After discussions with detectives etc.. Bree is finally allowed to get Rex released to her so she can burry him back. The ladies were all playing cards and Bree tells them she will host a reburrial Friday morning, Danielle is away and Andrew is back at camp Hennessy. The ladies a little shocked agree they'll go to the burrial. Bree is at the hospital, they bring her Rex' bosy on a hospital bed (covered), the doctor forgot the release papers so leaves the body with Bree and goes to get the papers. the detective arrives and tells Bree that Rex also thought he was being poisened. he shows her the letter Rex had written and said Rex felt guilty aboput cheating on her etc.. and that's why he forgave her. He tells her the judge will understand that crimes of passion happen and that it would be easier if she just admitted what she did. Bree gets up and says she has to go and wheels the body out with her. The ladies are waiting for Bree at the grave site and she tells them she changed the place where he'll be, she wants him gone. Tells them Rex did something to upset her and the women are confused. Bree can't hold it in any longer and says with hurt and fury "My husband, the man I spent my life with for 18 years died thinking I murdered him. The cardiologist shared a theory with Rex and Rex believed him. He left a note and it said, and I quote, Bree, I understand and I forgive you. I spent 18 years of my life with this man, how could he not know me?" Edie said "maybe he was forgiving you for something else" and Bree really lost it and said (teeth clenched) "I have done nothing to be forgiven for. I was a fantastic wife. When he was sick I mursed him, when we were low on money I stayed within the budget,I cooked his meals, I mended his clothes, for the love of God I even used to check his back for acne and that miserable son of a bitch has the nerve to understand and forgive me. Well the joke's on himbecause I don't understand and I do not forgive" It was great! The Applewhite's Betty bringing mail she got to Paul's house and the mailbox was overloaded with mail. She then had mail for Edie too so bringd it to her house. Edie leaves the room and tells Betty to feel free to snoop around. She sees something on TV and turns up the volume. They announce an arrest was made for the murder of Melanie Foster. Betty leaves, Edie wondering where she went At home Betty asks Matthew if he saw the news that they arrested somebody. he tells her "looks like we're in the clear" Betty is writng a letter with yellow dish gloves on and the timer went off. She took the gloves off, got the tray ready and brought it down. She say to the man "Hey there" and tells him about the arrest and talking about Melanie Foster. She says "it's time to talk about her Caleb. until you accept responsibilityfor what happened, I can't let you out of here" Matthew sees the letter she's writing where she writes "I know who really killed Melanie Foster, you arrested the wrong man", tells Matthew she's going to mail the letter to the police, he tells her to call 911 and say she has the killer in the basement and she says "he's not a killer, he was just confused" Matthew says "he knows more than you give him credit for"...during this time, Betty didn't lock the door properly and Caleb is going up the stairs and hears them talking, Mathew then says to Betty "they won't care how slow he is, they're going to execute him" and Caleb went back down stairs. *at 1 point we see a post man bring package to Pauls and all the mail is gone* Mary Alice then says Everyone in the world needs someone they can depend on. be they faithful friends (we see all the ladies leaving the grave site) determined advocates (lawyer and Carlos talking) or a loving family Lynette, Tom and baby but occasionally in life the people we thought would always be there for us, leave (we see Lonnie) and if that happens....it's amazing the lenghths we'll go to, to get them back (Paul opening his mail) |
