The show starts off with everyone at the Applewhite's trying to figure out if they should get more security in the neighborhood since the break in at Gabby's. As Mrs.McClusky wants people to decide on security, Betty starts playing the piano. Mary Alice was saying how Betty was a gifted woman but her greatest gift of all was timing. Matthew was going out, Betty questioned him, said he was going to look for Caleb but he was really going to meet Danielle. Lynette We see Lynette driving home at night and Preston and Parker were playing outside. She freaked, went in house , Tom was vacuuming and he said the kids must have snuck out again. Lynette worried she told Tom that he needs to be more vigilent. He says he knows what he's doing. He teaches the kids to say no to starngers and run away and call 911. Tom makes up different scenarios for the kids in front of Lynette hoping they'll always say the right answer "run away, call 911" and they do. Lynette still isn't convinced and asks Stew at her work to kidnap her kids to prove her point to Tom. We see the kids playing outside and she and Tom are looking out the window. Stew pulls up in a car and talks to them, they tell him they can't talk to starngers. Stew then tells them he'll take them to the carnival, get in the car and he'll give them candy, the kids run in the car and Lynette has proven her point. However Mrs.McClusky sees this and runs to the car, Stew rolls down the window and Mrs. McClusky continuously zaps him with a taser. Bree Bree was cutting coupons and she notices an announcement of her engagement to George in the paper. She goes to see him and he tells her she needs to wear the ring. Bree upset that he is doing this too quickly. Woman named Layla shows up at Bree's and tries to warn Bree that George is a psycho. She tells Bree she and George were once engaged and that George became super possessive, set her ex's car on fire and would get really jealous. Layla says "I know this must be upsetting" and Bree said "upsetting to have a stranger turn me against one of the sweetest men I've ever known." Bree confronts George about Layla's visit, He tells her Layla is a renound liar who still wants him and tries to convince Bree by showing her med papers that Layla was crazy.Bree asks why he dated her then and he answers "at the beginning you're blind at the flaws" (you got that right honey!) Bree walks away not seeming too convinced, takes her ring off and puts it in her purse. Bree is out with George (to test him) He gets upset that she's not wearingthe ring, she tells him the stone is loose, he said "put it on anyways" and Bree refuses A goodlooking man walks up to Bree (they knew eachother from years ago) and she introduces him to George. He tells Bree she looks fantastic and Bree aks him if he'd like to dance. They got to dance and Bree gives George a "na-na" look. George cuts in between them and tells Bree to put the ring on. Grabs bree and tries to force the ring on her, Ty buds in , George falls, says "we're engaged" and Bree said "I don't think we are anymore. You should go" George goes to the table where Ty left his jacket and grabbed the ticket for his car. George gets the keys to Ty's car (as the valet person shows him where the car is) and Geroge drives off. Susan Mike was working on the roof and Susan came by. He threw dirt by her feet a few times but not getting the hint she sticks around to jabber with him.She wanted to see if he'd still go to hr mother's wedding and of course he said no, to apologize to her mom for his absence. She yacking about her auto biographical book etc.. and mike just doesn't care. She leaves when he tells her she should step back and throws more dirt down ...LOL Susan was late for her mother's wedding rehearsal saying she checked all the names in the arm services and they had no match for her Dad. The mother didn't want to talk about it. Morty says he knew this was going to happen, Susan wanted answers but her mother walked off. Susan asks Morty to tell her the truth about her Dad. He says Sophie wasn't married to him and he's not even sure Sophie knew his name. Morty gives a speech at the wedding and then it was sophie's turn. She thanks her daughter for the respect and love she has given her and says she is a horrible person and that Susan deserves so much better. She tells Susan her Dad wasn't a 1 night stand but that he was a 33 year old married man, he was her boss and he left her when she told him she was pregnant. Susan asks "do you know where he is?" They say his name is Addicon Purdy and a man in the hal says he's got a supply store on 3rd and Sutherland. Susan looks at her mom "Is that him?" the mother says "yes", Susan runs out and Julie follows. Not knowing what to say at that point, Marty turns to Sophie and says "you're not still dating him are you? "  Gabby Gabby lost the baby, she miscarried. She doesn't seem upset at all about it and goes on major shopping sprees. She went to visit Carlos in jail and his hands were all bloody, says he hasn't been the same since the news. He was so sad, said he had the top 5 names picked out etc... Gabby still didn't seem to care, said she hadn't thought of names, it was too soon. Carlos notices her new shirt, she tells him she just went shopping. carlos is furious at the way she is acting. She tells him "I go shopping, you rip toilets out of walls" LOL A scary looking man parks in front of Gabby's. Tells her Carlos sent him to check up on her, she asks him to leave. Next time she leaves the house, he is sitting on the chair on her porch. He asks where she is going and she says shopping. he tells she's a tough cookie who doesn't deal with her feelings and she yells "I will deal with my loss my way" Later he is cutting an apple on the porch and she offers him 100o$ to leave. he said he just got out of prison, he doesn't have a bank account if they can go cash it at her bank. She gets into his crummy car. He locks the doors and says "Carlos didn't ask me to check up on you." 
oh no!!!Parks the car at a park and tells Gabby to look for a spot. She sees
him going in his trunk and takes off her shoes and runs. Holding a balloon
he asks her where she is going. She says :you don't want to kill me?" and he
said it wouldtae=ke forever with a balloon. he tells her to take the balloon
and let it go, to acknowledge the pain she feels. She says she doesn't feel
the way he thinks. Staring at the balloon and holding it tight, tearing up,
Gabby says it's stupid and says she didn't want the baby in the first place.
"I would've beena terrible mom" and tells him the names she had picked out
if it was a boy or a girl.Very teary eyed at this point, she turns to the man and says "thank you" and let the balloon go.  the end Mike is at his place and bongo growls. Mike looks out and sees Caleb running, trying to get in a locked car. He goes out and gets a hold of him and pins him on the ground. Mrs. McClusky comes out and asks if she should zap him and Mike tells her to call the police. The cops have him and all of Wisteria Lane is standing there. They ask Gabby if that's the man she saw at her place, they put the flashlight on his face and she says "yes" Then Mary Alice says In a world filled with darkness, we all need some kind of light -see Caleb whether it's a great flame to show us how to win back what we lost Ty's car going up in flames and George standing there or a powerful beacon to scare away potential monsters Tom watching the kids playing outside or a few glowing bulbs that reveal to us the hidden teuth of our past Susan seeing dad going into the shop we all need something to help us getthrough the night, even if it's just the tinniest glimmer of hope Caleb in police car, staring out, everyone watching him, Betty puts her finger to her mouth (like shhh... don't say anything) |
