Mary Alice tells us the annual block party is a winter tradition, where residents spread holiday cheer.

We see all the neighbourhood spreading the news about Art being a paedophile.

Everyone was in a good mood until Art arrived dressed up as Santa Claus. No one let their children go to him and his sister was wondering what was going on.

Mary Alice says "yes...for the residents of Wisteria Lane it was the most wonderful time of the year but for Arthur Sheppard and his sister it turned out to be a very silent night"

Edie asks Mike to swear he didn't murder anyone and Mike said he can't remember. She asks him if it was because he can't remember or doesn't want to remember.

The cops show up and they arrest Mike.

Susan is unpacking her Christmas stuff and asks Ian to kiss her when she takes out the mistletoe. He says his parents are coming for the weekend and asks if she could make them a home cooked meal. She confesses she can't cook and he says his parents would really like her to, they are old fashioned. She agrees.

She went to see Bree and asked Bree to make the dinner for her, Bree agrees. They begin to talk and Bree tells Susan she asked Orsen to move out. Susan says it's the best thing and tells Bree she "can't let feelings for a man blind you to cold hard facts"

They step outside and see Mike being taken away in hand cuffs. They ask what's going on and Mrs.McClusky tells them Mike was arrested for Monique's murder. Bree said "Oh thank God"

Edie is talking with Mike as he is behind bars and he asks that she get him a good lawyer, tells her they found traces of Monique's blood on his wrench.
Edie warns him that she knows the timing is bad but says she has been unhappy for quite some time now and they are moving too fast. She breaks up with him.

Susan went to visit Mike and he tells her Edie dumped him. Susan tells him she will help him out. He says "you don't have to" and she says 'I want to". Mike asks her if she's going to ask him if he did kill Monique and Susan said "I don't have to, I know you didn't"
He tells her he sees flashes of face so perhaps he did know her and not sure what happened, Susan reassures him everything will be o.k.

Back home Susan is looking in the phonebook for lawyers and Ian walks in. She tells him she is helping Mike out and says edie dumped Mike. Ian looks worried.

Back at Bree's we see her leaving a message for Orsen to call her back. Then she joins Lynette and Gabby to play poker. Susan shows up and ask Bree if she told the police that she thinks Orsen killed Monique. Bree said she no longer had concerns about that since they arrested Mike. Bree reminds Susan that Monique's blood was on mike;s wrench and Susan tells Bree that Monique's teeth were missing.. Bree tells Susan 'we all have convictions and Mike's last one is manslaughter".
Susan suggests going through Orsen's things if Bree is so sure he is innocent etc.. Bree and Susan not happy with eachother.

Susan said she'll cook the meal herself and Bree said " let me know if there are any survivors" and Susan replied "if you take Orsen back, you do the same"

Susan sneaks into the cupboard at Bree's to get the keys to Orsen's office. She arrives there and Orsen was there, eating pizza and watching football. he didn't see her.

Bree walks in and she tells him they arrested Mike for Monique's murder. She asks him to explain everything to her and that she will go through with the divorce if he leaves anything out.

He tells her his mother set him up with Allma. he never loved her. She got pregnant and miscarried and he stayed in the marriage because he didn't believe in divorce and he had hopes he would fall in love with her in time. and the Monique came along and he never loved anyone as much as he did her until Bree.

Meanwhile, Susan was going through a box in Orsen's stuff and came across papers showing Orsen was committed to a mental institution for over a year. She also finds a pic of Orsen and his mom and letters.

Bree tells Orsen to pack his stuff and go home, they are sending his mom away.

Susan gets home and Ian is upset. he tells her his parents won't make it, the plane got snowed in at O'Hare airport. He is upset that she is 40 minutes late. She tells him what she was doing and he is not impressed.

Susan said she is all Mike has and Ian tells her Mike has him too. he explains that he is willing to hire the best lawyer ever and pay for all the bills as long as Susan stops seeing him.. She asks why and he says that Mike will fall in love with her again.
He asks if she accepts his offer and she agrees, as long as he makes sure to get the best lawyer.

Back at Bree's they tell the mom she has to leave. Orsen tells him mom that he told Bree everything. She tells him she doubts it and says he has more secrets. he tells her she does too so if she doesn't want her secrets revealed, she better keep quiet.

She takes her phone and says to the person that she has bad news, Bree is taking him back, asks the person to meet her on the corner and says "we have to do this".

Gabby

Gabby and that guy (not sure his name, the one who hired her to work with him) are watching girls practice. Gabby really thinks this Amy girl is bad and they have to get rid of her. The guy tells Gabby that Amy lost her mom last year and was going throguh a rough time. gabby said too bad, business is business.

They meet of with Amy's dad Bill and he is really good looking. gabby is almost drooling. The guy starts telling Bill that Amy is having a little trouble and he asks Gabby to help him out. gabby plays dumb and says she has no idea where he is going with that and tells Buill she tried to explain that they;re just kids. She suggests Amy take private coaching and offers ro help her out Friday, the Dad agrees.

Gabby and Bill are inside talking and drinking wine and Amy was practising outside. Amy walks in and asks if they saw but sees the blinds were close and gets upset that they weren't paying attention. She then sees them holding hands and looks real unahppy.

He drops Amy off for a class and asks Gabby for coffee afterwards. She tells Amy that she is so lucky to have such a nice Dad and Any tells Gabby to leave him alone. Gabby tells her she is not trying to replace her mom and Amy answers "I am". She explains to Gabby thatshe wants her best friend Sheri's mom to go out with her Dad so she and Sheri could be sisters. She then tells Gabby to go teach her how to work the runway, that is what she is being paid for.

Later Gabby goes to see Sheri and tells her she is going to put in the opening act with Amy Sjeri is upset and tells Gabby that Amy sucks and she doesn't want to do the opening act with her. Gabby said she already told Amy she could and Sheri asked her to go tell her she changed her mind. Gabby suggested Sheri be honest with her friend and tell her she doesn't want to do it with her. She tells her friends come and go but the crown lasts forever

We see Amy and Sheri fighting and ending their friendship and Gabby on the phone with Bill making plans to meet Saturday night.

Lyynette

Lynette was on the hone in her car and Art's sister knocked on the car. She tells Lynette that the youth center fired Art. Lynette apologizes but says she knows what Art was up to, she saw the pictures. the siter explains that the pictures were his swim team and he was proud of them.
She tells Lynette that since she turned him in he has been spit on, refused at restaurants and had his tires slashed. She asks Lynette if she ever thought for a minute that she could be wrong. lynette told her she has kids and she is better safe than sorry and the siter said "as long as you're safe, what do you care who's sorry?" and walks away. Lynette feels bad.

Lynette wanted to get together with the neighborhood just to keep an eye out onm Art and be careful but instead they were planning to stage a protest in front of his house.

everyone is protesting and then an ambulance arrives. The medical team is saying it is a woman in her late 30's who suffered cardiac arrest and tehn they see Art's sister being taken away on a stretcher.
Someone ten threw something at Aert's head and Lynette feels bad and she tries to tell them to stop and go away. She attempts talking to Art and he gives her an evil look and ignores her.

Later she sees him and she apologizes and says how bad she feels and she is willing to help with funeral arrangements and calls to the family. He tells her in a weird way he should thank her.
He tells her his siter was wonderful and always brought out the best in him. She couldn't see his faults or chose not to.
Lynette asked "what do you mean?" and he said " I think you know"
he says he couldn't slip in front of his siter and do something to hurt her but that now he was free again. Lynnette disgusted, tells him he has to leave. He says he is already packed and in a creepy voice tells her
"take care of that beautiful family of yours"
Lynette just looks at his lawn and there is a lit up Santa Claus with 4 lt up choir boy decorations.

Mary Alice says
There's a reason people can't wait for Christmas
-we see Orsen's mom leaving the house
and it has little to do with family reunions or curling up with a cup of egg nog
-we see Edie on the sofa drinking egg nog
or that unexpexted kiss beneath the mistletoe
-Ian and Susan kiss
or receiving a present from that special someone
-gabby meeting Bill and he has a pointsedia (spelling?) plant for her
no.....people look foward to Christmas because they know it;s a time for miracles."

we see Orsen's mom walk up to a car, the person rolls down the window and Orsen's mom says "hello Alma", the person replies "dont just stand there, tell me everything".
